Discord appears to be experiencing another wave of connectivity and service issues, with users reporting problems accessing and using the platform on September 2, 2026.
Reports from Discord users are surfacing across multiple regions, with complaints involving Discord login, messages not sending, servers not loading, voice and audio problems, connectivity issues and the Discord app failing to open properly.
Third-party outage trackers are currently recording user reports for Discord, including reports from the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Is Discord down right now?
At the time of writing, Discord’s official status page is showing its major services as operational and does not list an active incident for September 2.
Update: Discord says it’s investigating the outage.

However, that does not necessarily mean every user is unaffected. Outage trackers can capture individual and regional problems that may not immediately appear as an official platform-wide incident.
Users have recently reported issues including:
- Discord login not working
- Discord app not loading
- Messages failing to send or load
- Servers not opening
- Discord voice chat problems
- Audio/video connection issues
- Connection and ping problems
- Discord Web problems
- Desktop app issues
- Users being logged out and unable to sign back in
One recent report described Discord failing across both PC and mobile, while other users have reported login and message-delivery problems.

Discord users are asking: Is Discord down?
The reports suggest that some users are currently having trouble with Discord even though the official service status remains operational.
This can happen during regional connectivity problems, isolated Discord infrastructure issues, server-specific failures or a developing outage before Discord formally acknowledges an incident.
Discord has experienced similar incidents in the past where users reported problems with voice connections, messaging and server access before service was restored.
Discord outage reports continue to appear
Outage monitoring services are continuing to receive reports related to Discord. Current reports include problems with login, sending messages and audio/video, indicating that the problems are not limited to a single Discord feature.
For users asking “Is Discord down?”, the answer currently appears to be: Discord is officially operational, but some users are reporting real problems accessing or using the service.
We are monitoring the situation and will update this article if Discord acknowledges a wider outage or if the number of user reports increases significantly.
