Reddit appears to be experiencing a new wave of connectivity and loading problems, with users reporting that the platform is down or partially unavailable.

Users attempting to access Reddit are reporting problems loading the website, feeds, posts and other parts of the platform. The disruption appears to be affecting Reddit users in multiple regions, although the exact scope of the incident is still developing.

Reddit Down Reports Are Increasing

Reports of Reddit being down have begun circulating as users encounter problems accessing the platform.

Depending on the user and region, the symptoms can include:

  • Reddit pages failing to load
  • Home feeds not loading or appearing empty
  • Posts and comments failing to open
  • Slow or intermittent connections
  • Problems accessing Reddit through the website
  • Reddit app connectivity issues
  • Login and session-related problems

The unusual part of the incident is that Reddit’s official status page is currently showing all systems as operational, with no active incident listed.

That means the current situation may involve an intermittent or regional problem that has not yet been reflected on Reddit’s official status dashboard.

Reddit Status vs. What Users Are Experiencing

Reddit’s status page currently lists Reddit.com, Desktop Web, Mobile Web, Native Mobile Apps, Vote Processing, Comment Processing and other major components as operational.

Update: At 12:52 PDT, Reddit officially acknowledged the outage

This creates a familiar outage pattern: users can experience failures before an official incident is posted, particularly when an issue is intermittent, regional or still being investigated.

Previous Reddit outages have followed a similar pattern. Status monitoring services have recorded incidents involving degraded site performance, elevated errors and problems loading comments.
